Should i try to remove cancer surgically?

i have stage IV cancer and am going through a third cycle of chemotherapy, The cancer has spread to my spine and I have been experiencing more pain, and have been very uncomfortable lately. I haven't had any radiation treatment and don't really understand the advantages of radiation. Should I skip radiation and try removing my ? Is surgery an option I should consider?
