Kristin Kreuk?

This might seem like a rather silly question, but I was wondering, exactly how do you pronounce Kristin? You see, 'Smallville' co-star Allison Mack pronounces it 'Kris-ten' in all the interviews I have viewed, but alternatively I have heard Tom Welling pronounce it 'Kris-tean' (as in mean). So, my question is, does anyone know how she pronounces her name? Also, is Kreuk pronounced Krook as suggested on the websites? Thanks - all serious answers appreciated.
