Custom Turbo?

Can someone explain to me how to build a turbo set up for my car. it has no turbo designed for it, butpeople tell me that really doesnt matter, and you can build a turboon just about anything. If it helps any, i own a 1995 grand am SE 3.1l v6 Automatic. Serious answeres only please!@!!
