Don't know what to choose, manicure or facial?

I'm at the Ritz Carlton and my mother is willing to pay for a manicure or a facial, but I don't know which one to choose. I have never gotten either of these before so I don't know which one is worth more. the manicure is $75 dollars while the facial is $165. But then I also heard that a lot of people have broken out more after a facial which has caused me to go more towards the manicure side. So I'm really stuck.
