My daughter, age 15, needs a 1 minute monologue for a theater audition. Not comedy.?

Preferable something age appropriate, and familiar enough that the director will know. Not chlldish, but not something for an adult either. Having trouble finding something other than Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz ! Help!
